PDF TUTORIAL

How to save each PDF page as a separate JPG

Turn PDF pages into numbered JPG images with this tutorial. Download one page or a ZIP, identify the right file and check the readability of small print.

If a form accepts pictures but your document is a PDF, export its pages as images. Each JPG contains the visible page, including its layout and margins. Text becomes pixels, so keep the original PDF for searching, copying text or following links.

Step by step

  1. Choose the PDF

Open the PDF to JPG converter and select a document up to 20 MB with 1 to 10 pages. If you only need part of a longer document, first export that page range as a smaller PDF from your document app.

  2. Render the pages

Leave JPG selected and choose Convert to JPG. Keep the tab open while each page is rendered. The result list shows one file per page, with a page number in its filename.

  3. Save one page or the whole set

Choose Download JPG beside the page you need. To keep every page, choose Prepare ZIP and then Download ZIP. Extract the archive before attaching the images to a form that accepts JPG files.

What if small print looks soft?

Pages render at up to 108 dpi, with a 4-megapixel limit per page. Try PDF to PNG to avoid the extra compression that JPG applies to text and diagrams. PNG uses the same rendering resolution. If the lettering is already blurry in the source scan, use a sharper scan or share the original PDF when possible.
