WebP is an alternative format for delivering photographic images on the web. This tool accepts both JPG and JPEG files, applies their EXIF orientation, and creates a verified WebP output when your browser supports it.
Converting JPEG to WebP introduces another lossy encoding step. Start with the default 85% quality and inspect the result, especially around textures and text. Resizing can reduce dimensions, but it never adds missing source detail.
