JPG is useful when a website or app requires a JPEG image. For photographic PNGs, lossy JPEG compression can reduce file size, although small graphics and screenshots may become larger or lose crisp edges.
PNG can store transparent pixels; JPG cannot. Choose a white, black, or gray background before converting. Adjust quality from 10 to 100%, or resize within a maximum width and height without enlarging the source.

Up to 10 files, 10 MB each, and 40 MB total. Each source must be at most 16 megapixels and 8,192 pixels on either side; compatibility mode is limited to 4 megapixels. Resizing does not bypass source limits.
PNG to JPG: common questions
What happens to a transparent PNG?
Transparent and partially transparent pixels are blended onto your selected background. White is the default. The downloaded JPG is opaque.
Will the JPG always be smaller?
No. File size depends on image content, dimensions, and quality. Lower JPEG quality usually reduces size, but every result shows its actual size before download.
